     Locally owned and operated by Gordon and Wanda Driver, G & W Ambulance, Inc. offers reliable emergency and non-emergency ambulance and wheelchair transportation to residents of the central Shenandoah Valley. Formed in 1993, G & W Ambulance was formed with the desire to ease the burden for those in the community who need additional medical and mobility assistance. As the longest continuous ambulance service in the Harrisonburg area we strive to provide the best patient care possible. We are a fully independent agency who works closely with local hospitals, nursing homes, and doctors offices to assure the best prehospital and interfacility care possible. Our staff include some of the most experienced in the area and our ambulances are stocked with the latest technologies. Each January G & W Ambulance hosts an EMT-B course which has added hundreds of EMT's to our volunteer agencies as a means to create a strong private and volunteer workforce.
